Hello all you beautiful people! As promised, here is a wearable look inspired by the beautiful Sonakshi Sinha. This look is great for a night out, a wedding or if you just feel like being glamorous! Switch up the eye shadow with any colour of your choice and use the same technique. Let's jump right in :)
Step 1: Prime your eyelids with an eye shadow primer. I used Too Faced Eye Shadow Insurance.
Step 2: Using a pale eye shadow (I used Virgin from the Naked palette), pat the eye shadow over your lid.
Step 3: Concentrate the color on the actual lid but blend any harsh edges with a fluffy brush.
Step 4: Take your favourite black kohl pencil (I used Urban Decays Zero eyeliner) and use a flat angled brush to take product from the actual pencil tip. This will give you precision and control.
Step 5: Line your upper lash line, beginning the line from 1/3 way in. Don't start your line at your inner tea duct, rather skip 1/3 and then begin the line. Take a black eye shadow and fade that line to make it a nice smokey line but still maintaining the darkness.
Step 6: Repeat to the lower lash line.
7. Line your lips with a dark pink lip liner (I used Rosebud from Avon) and fill in your lips with a peachy lipstick (I used Just Peachy from Wet n Wild).
Step 8: Blend so there are no harsh edges.
And voila! Easy as that. Feel free to elongate your liner if you want a more cat eye effect.

Update
Hello all you beautiful people! So sorry I haven't posted in a while; have been kind of busy and then caught the flu. Am on my way to feeling better though, so if you have any requests on what you'd like to see next, leave a comment! I was thinking a wearable look that's inspired by Shilpa Shetty....or maybe a cat eye worn by Sonakshi Sinha!
Stay tuned...and stay beautiful... <3

Kareena Kapoor Inspired Monochromatic Look
Hello all you beautiful people! I hope you had a fantastic New Year celebration and 2014 has been great to you so far! Todays look is inspired by the beautiful Kareena Kapoor; if she isn't sporting a heavy cat eye, she probably has a clean simple look. This look is very wearable and great for a day time affair or an evening out. Let's get started...
These are the products I used on my face; this Rimmel BB Cream is amazing - it doesn't make you feel or look oily, and has great coverage - a perfect product for everyday! And the product next to the Moon Beam is Bare Minerals "Warmth" - a nice buildable bronzer that adds some colour to your face.
This look only requires one palette - the Urban Decay Naked Palette. But don't worry if you don't have this exact palette...all you'll need is a nice vibrant gold colour, and a nude colour similar to your skin colour. Start off my applying eye shadow primer to your entire lid.
Step 5: Select a vibrant gold eyeshadow. I used Half Baked from the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
Step 6: Pat this colour onto your lids. Be sure to pat it and not sweep it. We want this colour to be vibrant and pigmented.
Step 7: Build this gold colour until it has a nice metallic look to it.
Step 8: Line your inner lids (both top and bottom) with a dark liner pencil. I used Urban Decays liner in Zero.
Step 9: Taking that same light brown colour (Naked), swipe a small amount under your eyes to give it a light shadow.
Step 10: Curl those lashes!
Step 11: Apply lots of mascara to top and bottom lashes. Kareena has her natural lashes in this picture so no need for falsies today. Unless of course you want to add false lashes!
Step 12: Moisturize your lips and then apply a golden brown colour to your lips - no lip liner needed today - we are going to a soft look :) I used Avon's Mocha lipstick.
And here's the completed look! Super simple and very wearable!
Thanks for coming back...love you all...

Step 1: Apply an eye shadow base all over your lids - I used Two Faced Eye Shadow Insurance.
Step 2: Select a light brown colour or one similar to your skin tone - I used Naked from the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
Step 3: Using windshield wiper motions, swipe this colour into your crease ensuring you don't place colour too high up. Kareena's look is not a heavy look - we are doing this to mimic her deep set eyes. If you already have deep set eyes, you can skip this step.
Step 4: Build up that colour until it reaches your desired intensity.

Katrina Kaif Inspired Smokey Grey Look
Hello all you beautiful people! As promised, here is the Katrina Kaif inspired look. This look is great for the evening because of the smokey dark tones. Remember: when doing dark statement eyes, remember to keep your lips light - a light pink lip goes great, as does a nude sheer colour. So enough talking...let's get started!
Prep: Start off with a clean moisturized face. I'm currently using CeraVe cleanser and moisturizer and am really liking it. Once your moisturizer has absorbed into your skin, apply a small amount of full coverage foundation. I'm using MakeUpForever HD Foundation. Katrina has flawless skin so we want to make sure our base is nice and clean. Next, cover any under eye circles with a concealer lighter than your skin colour. Katrina is very highlighted in this photo and using a lighter concealer will give us that same glow. Finally, add a highlight powder or cream to your cheekbones and let's move onto the eyes.
Step 1: Prep your eyelids by applying an eye shadow primer. Here I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
Step 2: Using a grey eye liner, create a V-shape at your outer corner and fill in the entire lid with the eye liner. (Tip: Warm up a liner on the back of your hand to ensure a creamy application and to make sure your eyelid isn't being tugged on when you're applying it)
Step 3: Draw a thin line on your lower lash line with the same pencil. Connect the bottom line with the upper line.
Step 4: Taking a dark grey shadow and a stiff blending blush (I used a Sephora dark grey shadow and an Elf blending brush), go over the entire eyelid to set the liner.
Step 5: Using what's left on the brush, blend any harsh lines by using a light hand and a windshield wiper motion going back and forth. This will soften any harsh edges.
Step 6: Take that same dark grey shadow and a smaller brush (I used an Elf concealer brush) and blend the lower lash line just like you did to the top.
Step 7: Next, apply a highlight to the brow bone - I used Virgin from the Urban Decay Naked palette - with a fluffy brush and blend to combine the grey and the light shimmer.
Step 8: Finally, apply some false lashes, and mascara to the top and bottom lashes and voila! Is that you, Katrina?
